helped us up there ... And we got a very nice day, the sun has lit the path for almost all the time.
The place of departure is a fabulous villa of 1400 with a beautiful park with old trees in it and a beautiful private lake surrounded by a beautiful forest.
arrived on site as early as Saturday afternoon I was seated in one of the structures within the park, where in past centuries that
brick making to build the villa and the rest of the structures and also produce butter (the burraja ), now converted into a hotel.
The rooms were very nice to say the least, all was given the name of a famous painter and each was furnished with antiques and reproductions of paintings by the combined room.
But let's get to race day: morning with the perfect temperature for running, now meet their friends John and Manu, and then gradually other old and new friends.

The race starts with a slow pace and I find myself in a group of 5 / 6 people in front, you are beaten up to the 3 km and then enters the race in vivo, today I brought my camera to photograph the best points and continued occasionally to make quick stop for pictures bats, trying to spend less time as possible.
The only snag was found the signs: a couple points of the signals were not well positioned or missing, so many athletes (myself included) were wrong direction and then find the right one small stretch of track.
I must say that upon completion of my assessment is positive: it was worth to do this trail, from many parts of olive trees, undergrowth and land crossings with views very beautiful, very beautiful and is the final part in the park, including oaks , pines and cypress trees, along the small lake and a beautiful grove of bamboo canes, the ups and downs have never been (except for some small sections) and pendants too hard, causing the race went off smoothly enough until the finish, where I arrived with much more beer in the body and not at all tired.

good race course, be improved by removing a few kilometers of asphalt too, and improving the signs sometimes not perfect, but considering it was the first edition, little sins are venial.
Welcoming more than good, both by professionals of the hotel, is understood by the volunteers of the race in good Samuel who organized this event, plus 30 € registration, in my humble opinion have been well spent, race registration, race packet abundant (bottle of wine - biscuits - t-shirt of the race - a ceramic frame with the caption of the race - a condiriso - even a nice piece of bacon, a typical Tuscan salami), and finally including also the pre-race breakfast and lunch after the race ... if we complain this time ... then we will never be happy.
Over dinner chitchat smiling in the awards, to say goodbye to friends, and so to home ...
PS the only regret is that since the first edition, we knew that there were so many people, but have come to miss the runners of a bus, stopped on the highway, perhaps because of an accident (bus I did not understand, but should be of Modena and Bologna) and maybe put a little 'in trouble ... the good Samuel which was found about sixty race packs ready, without being able to deliver, and considering that he did not want advance payments, found himself without the collection of subscriptions (because the bus never arrived), despite having already incurred the cost ... too bad , did not deserve all the work visa we had to put up a new event for us to entertain runners.
