Over The Knee Punishments

under the veil of our pain we had to pray


the world was
out and did not dare touch them

tears that came from the hearts vulnerable

is from before the dream deferred

death has touched me
taking away blood and want

and I who are crazy
I still have life because without
I'd be dead

is a cry for peaceful
a choice not mine but that's okay


with a heart full of pain
